In this type of therapy, the goal is to retrain the bladder. The therapy may be challenging in the beginning but continual therapy will assist patients control the over active bladder.
Apart from behavioral therapy, medications for this condition may also be prescribed by the attending physician. On the other hand, if you prefer a more natural approach, you can drink cranberry juice or increase your intake of magnesium rich foods. Both of these things are known to help a large number of bladder issues.
Encountering a bladder problem such as an bladder spasms is not a part of aging. Although this is a private issue, it is nevertheless imperative to seek medical help as soon as you experience this problem.
