I can’t hide from the facts any longer. I was traveling across the country, and I had to fly to get to my destination. I was informed by the airline that because of my size I would have to purchase two seats. Without the second ticket, the plane would leave without me. It didn’t seem right to me, but I was in no position to argue. I paid for the seat, and I vowed never to fly this stupid airline again with their discriminatory practices. I didn’t choose to be the weight that I was.
Now that I had bought my ticket, I made my way down the concourse picking up a few snacks along the way. What gave them the right to tell me I was too big. I decided to grab a magazine to read while I was waiting and picked one up at the newsstand and started to read it while I drank my supersized soda only to notice all types of ads touting products that promised to show me how to lose weight fast. (There was no doubt about it.~I couldn’t deny it any longer~It was a fact that was very obvious.} I was not healthy. My health was being affected because of my large stomach that seemed to keep growing. My health problems included diabetes and high blood pressure not to mention back and joint pain. The fact that was obese was at the bottom of the problems. I was told if I didn’t do something about it now, I would die before my time.
I could look in the mirror and see the problem. It was clear to me what the problem was, but how could I solve the problem? I needed to lose the weight quickly, but I knew that would be hard since it didn’t appear overnight.
