It’s not uncommon to feel fearful or scared as a young child and is usually just a phase but when it begins to be excessive fear or worry in children 6 and over and lasts for a period longer than 4 weeks it can be anxiety.
Anxiety occurs when a child suffers excessive distress and becomes nervous or fearful. It can be triggered by a circumstance that the child feels is traumatic, a significant family change such as divorce, birth of sibling, first day of school, death in the family or just a scary event that the child personally experiences.
Common Signs to Watch For in Children With Anxiety:
• Tummy Aches, feeling nauseous
• Headaches
• Not wanting to go to school
• Avoidance of sleepovers
• Problems sleeping
• Needing to sleep in parents bed at night
• Refusal to attend extra-curricular activities
• Excessive or unrealistic worry
What You Can Do About It:

A mere 2% drop in body water can trigger fuzzy short-term memory, and difficulty focusing and it is estimated that 75% of Americans are dehydrated. It may be difficult to drink the recommended daily water intake of 8 glasses a day, our schedules are so busy but try to keep a water bottle with you all the time. When you feel thirsty your body is already dehydrated. Don’t drink excessive caffeinated drinks or alcoholic beverages; they actually have a dehydrating effect, with alcohol that’s why you get the dreaded “hang over” the next day because your body is so dehydrated.

How to Stay Hydrated
-Drink 6-8, 8-ounce glasses of pure water every day.

-Water will also help keep your weight in check. Drinking 8 glasses of day will help you to feel more full.
-Herbal teas count too as long as there not diuretic.

Anxiety attacks are very serious, a disorder that people in every country struggle with, some minor, and some major.
If you are among the millions of people with an anxiety disorder, please realize that while you may feel devastated, it is important to see what treatments are available by talking to your physician. Once you stop anxiety attacks, life becomes much better, at work, school, and home.
Common symptoms are experienced among people with anxiety attacks to include stomach pain, headaches, chest pain, heart palpitations, mood swings, and the list goes on. Any person can experience anxiety. It is usually sudden and sometimes a very intense occurrence of fear, anxiety and panic. Attacks may have no specific trigger and appear random but they are actually the result of many other factors. Recurring stresses may be the issue or something traumatic are just a few things that may be causing the attacks. Left untreated it will eventually lead to a devastated person who is afraid of everything and that leaves a foothold for depression to set in. With concerns of taking medication many people opt for natural ways in Coping With Panic Attacks. It seems that prescription medication is one of the biggest killers of big stars of late. In actual fact, prescription medication causes tens of thousands of deaths annually. Reasons are usually due to taking too much or mixing medications.
Anti-anxiety medication although sometimes effective at reducing Anxiety symptoms, fails to address the real cause of anxiety.
