A way to think about the body is in terms of a machine. It’s important that it has a day of rest. In order, for it to rest, you’ll need to fast. There are various fasts that a person can choose from. There are water, vegetable and fruit juice fasts, as well as only vegetable and fruit fasts. To help the body heal, it’s ideal to fast once a week.

The colon is the important part to keep in mind while doing the cleansing process. If the colon is clean then for the most part, so is the rest of the body, so an enema may be of some help. A less invasive way would be to eat foods that are fiber rich that will keep the gastro- intestinal clean.

Since the body is constantly going though physical and mental stresses on a regular basis, it’s a good idea to do a full body cleanse. The best way to accomplish having a body free of toxins is to drink water. Your body will be happy and thank you for the body cleanse in the long run.
